You’re Invited: Monty Python and the Holy Grail Movie Night
If you’re on your way to Finland, not up to laughing so hard your belly hurts, or afraid of well, bunnies, then this is not the movie for you.
If you like knights, epic quests, and even that kissy stuff then we’ll see you at our movie night. If you enjoy a good ol’cult comedy classic with such greats as John Cleese, Eric Idle, and Graham Chapman then you can just be so excited…
Because just in time for its fortieth anniversary, Monty Python and the Holy Grail is coming here to Orlando, on the big screen!
The movie night will be held on May 2, 2015 at 8 p.m. on the lawn of Loch Haven Park (at the corner of Mills and Princeton Street). Presented by the Orlando Shakespeare Theater in association with the Enzian Theater, this free screening is open to the public so make sure to bring your friends! You can even show up a little early, around 7 p.m., to grab a bite from a food truck. Food trucks will include SwedeDish, Up in Smoke BBQ, and Eat My Treat Cupcakes! Credit cards will be accepted.
This also just happens to be a perfect tie in to our next Season’s production of Monty Python’s SPAMALOT, which is based on the movie. It will be running September 9 – October 11, 2015 and single tickets will go on sale June 16th.
If you have any questions, feel free to call (407)447-1700 ext. 1, visit www.orlandoshakes.org, or stop by in person at the Lowndes Shakespeare Center (812 E. Rollins St.)
Monty Python and the Holy Grail runs 91 minutes and is rated PG.
